March weddings at Westwood Barns are a nostalgic favorite, since our first wedding at Westwood was as well, in March of 2014. Similar to that day, Jake and Terri had perfectly warm weather, a clear day, and a show-stopping field ceremony.
For their alfalfa field ceremony, we mowed down a portion of the field just large enough for their 200 guests. The de Haans choose to place our wine barrel wood arbor at the front of their ceremony, and our x-back chairs sat in perfect contrast against the green field. Terri’s long walk with her dad over our reclaimed wood bridge and down the alfalfa aisle was exactly what a Disney movie would look like – if they had an agricultural spin!
Jake and Terri choose to take their photos in alongside our oak tree canal, just three miles from the home barn, and took many of their portraits in the almonds across the street.
